Bug?
[edit]Hi there, can you please clarify your comment either here or in my talk page? Which part of your sandbox can't be edited? Can you provide browser version/skin/OS details? Thanks! --Elitre (WMF) (talk) 20:10, 21 November 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry I couldn't express myself appropriately, English is not my first language. I was talking about, as the Wikipedia documentation calls it, embedded or numbered links, that is, links without a descriptive title, like:
I type... | and the result is: |
[http://en.wiki.x.io] | [1] |
- Visual Editor apparently cant edit them, they will be shown as [1] or [2] or [3]... but you wont be able to change the URL or add a title. I could not find a bug report about it. So I was mistaken, I thought there was a problem with the list of the existing references, but the problem was with the VE itself. Sorry for wasting your time...
- But there is something else, when this kind of link is used as a reference (inside <ref> tags), they wont be shown in the Reflist at the bottom of the page. Instead of a [1] or a [2], there is nothing. For example, check out the second and third reference of the page Alex Timbers or this test case. Did I make myself clear? - Yes, you did. These are two separate issues, I'll report both of them and will let you know ASAP. Thanks! --Elitre (WMF) (talk) 12:21, 22 November 2013 (UTC) - So, the bugs you might be interested in following are now 3: 57418, 57419 and 57420. Thanks a lot for the catch!

Disambiguation link notification for August 26
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited SAO 206462, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fuse. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
