Please don't vandalize user pages
[edit]All contributions are strongly appreciated and encouraged, but your recent edit to the userpage of another user may be considered vandalism. Specifically, your edit to User:NeilEvans may be offensive or unwelcome. Please use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do, particularly to userpages. Take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
If your complaint is legit, please use his talk page. Will (Talk - contribs) 09:22, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- Please do not introduce any form of vandalism to the userpages of other users, as you did to User:NeilEvans. Thank you. Will (Talk - contribs) 09:30, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Some of your recent edits, such as those you made to Brian Krause, have been considered unhelpful or unconstructive and have been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.--NeilEvans 17:37, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Please do not add unhelpful and non-constructive information to Wikipedia, as you did to Brian Krause. If you continue to do so, it may be considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you..--NeilEvans 17:49, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalise Wikipedia, as you did to Brian Krause, you will be blocked. .--NeilEvans 17:50, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalise Wikipedia, as you did to Brian Krause, you will be blocked from editing. .--NeilEvans 17:54, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- I would ask why you didn't use his talk page as I told you to do, but it looks like you have a problem responding. You kept trying to revert his changes didn't you? From the history of the page at Brian Krause, you both violated that rule. While the instructions at WP:3RR state it does not apply to simple vandalism, it is clear that both of you were accusing the other of vandalism. Hence, as an observer, I have no way of knowing who is right. One of you should have sought help from WP:AN3, WP:RFM, WP:RFC, or WP:RFAR. Since you failed to use warning properly, but everyone else did, you got blocked and the other user didn't.
- From the WP:AN3 page: If you violate the three revert rule, after your fourth revert in 24 hours sysops may block you for up to 24 hours. In cases where multiple parties violate the rule, sysops should treat all sides equally.
BTW: You mentioned agreement with a user named User:TrueFuzz. There is no such user as you can tell from the red link. Will (Talk - contribs) 04:34, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
