Hello. All Wikipedia content has to be WP:VERIFIABLE, and we have to be careful to avoid presenting assumptions as fact. ("however no device has been delivered which meets these claims" really means "however, the Wikipedia editor writing this sentence in September 2015 couldn't find any evidence of devices being delivered", which isn't ideal.) I think most readers will read the obvious message between the lines of "amazing physics-defying magic mobile phone charger announced for sale almost a year ago dot dot dot".

WP:PARITY would allow us to quote a less reliable source (like a blog) on the matter of whether anyone got a magic phone charger, framing the quote in context, if you know of anyone worth quoting. I agree that "and they announced another thing" probably doesn't belong in the lead section, and will go ahead and cut it now. --McGeddon (talk) 14:41, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
