VfD pollution

[edit]

Ril enlisted Persecution by Muslims for VfD again, just 24 hours after the article withstood the first VfD. You might be interested to watch it. [1] --Germen (Talk | Contribs ) 10:25, 30 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

IMO, this should be redirected to Wild Arms, not deleted; if you agree with me, as the nominator, would you state so on the VfD page so it can be unlisted and the redirect applied? JesseW 04:49, 4 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Recipes

[edit]

Hey! I did not know that I was not supposed to post the recipes there. BTW I'm a girl not a guy. 24.206.75.127 03:45, 8 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I tried to remove the recipes but I keep getting messages that I am getting into an edit conflict. I am so sorry...I feel really bad about this. :( 24.206.75.127 03:59, 8 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Don't try to remove them. Just create new articles in http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Cookbook:Cuisine and copy/paste them there. After you do that, I'll list them in AfD and we'll be done with it. --Bayyoc 04:05, 8 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User page format

[edit]

The hard way, unfortunately. Just play with the #J77846 type things, which are colors (all are listed at Web colors), and add the text you want. If you really need help, or want a great new design, User:Phaedriel is known as our userpage designer extraordinare! Harro5 21:46, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of category from your userpage

[edit]

Hi. In enacting consensus from User categories for discussion, I have removed the category Category:Wikipedians interested in books from your userpage. It was determined in that deletion debate that this category should be depopulated of individuals, but kept as a parent category. If you wish to display a category reflecting your interest in books, please consider one of the specific sub-categories under its umbrella. Thanks, and please excuse the necessary editing of your user page! ----Moonriddengirl (talk) 17:50, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • If this invitation also appears on other accounts you may have, please complete the survey once only.
  • If this has been sent to you in error and you have never patrolled new pages, please ignore it.

New deal for page patrollers

[edit]

Hi Bayyoc,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
