[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four halfwidth tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 14:57, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Delta Goodrem. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 23:58, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

Long distance
[edit]Please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. That is why the manual of style for disambiguation pages has a rule that states that the full page title of an entry should be visible, see WP:PIPING. On this basis I have reverted your edits to Long distance. Cheers LittleWink (talk) 17:33, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
American Idol contestant articles
[edit]You have been nominating American idol contestant pages for deletion. I have received 2 notes thus far and others may be on the way. You should know that it has been English Wikipedia's consensus regarding American Idol at least, that all 12 finalists of all seasons get their own pages regardless of what success they have later on. I don't know how fair this is, as this is not applied to other country Idol competitions, or to other reality TV competitions like X Factor, The Voice etc. but this is the way it is. I am ready for someone initiating a general discussion on all American Idol contestant articles. Once our present consensus is changed after a general discussion, individual articles deletions may be contemplated. But nominating just this or that competitor seems unfair and unwaranted to me. Keep such articles and initiate a general discussion about all treatment of American Idol contestants if you will. Once we agree on a "new" policy, we proceed... werldwayd (talk) 23:44, 25 December 2012 (UTC)
Contest Notability
[edit]I don't know what specific competitions you are talking about with "zero notability" (a daring though very subjective statement. Practically all contests have "some notability" at least. But anyway, as long as you are not naming any specific competition, I don't know what you are referring to. But my response is: Each is "a case on its own". Thus each contest's deletion should be discussed separately not in a joint discussion. We can't mix apples and oranges and lump all of them together as each has its own peculiarity and notability issues. Just nominate one single competition you think is not notable (as compared to AI you say..). As for American Idol contestant articles, please check that all contestants in the Final 12 have their articles. Some example from earlier and later series: On American Idol 3 http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/American_Idol_3#Finalists or American Idol 7 http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/American_Idol_7#Finalists or American Idol 10 http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/American_Idol_10#Finalists etc. werldwayd (talk) 00:01, 26 December 2012 (UTC) werldwayd (talk) 00:14, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
- Jacob Lusk from American Idol season 10 is being managed by Gladys Knight's entourage and is working on his debut album, which will be released in the not so distant future. He may have a recording contract. Due to technical PC problems, I did not have access to Internet at the time you nominated the article for deletion and until after the debate was closed. Tangled
[edit]Hi, would you mind fixing Tangled article? There is duplicated section 'Release' / 'Home Media'. Unfortunately everything is locked there (both article and talk). I bug you because you are the last editor ;) Cheers. 108.171.129.188 (talk) 11:00, 20 February 2016 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages.
