Hello, Axad12,

This AFD was not transcluded correctly. If you are going to nominate articles for a deletion discussion, please make sure to follow the instructions at WP:AFD precisely and thoroughly or it is likely that it will be closed as a Procedural Keep. Luckily, a bot fixed most of the mistakes with this AFD but it's preferable for editors to learn how to do this and not rely on bots to put together, tag an article and post a nomination. Thank you. Hello Liz, many thanks for your note above.
This was the first time I used the AfD process. While I was putting the nomination together I believe I did something like looking at 'Show Preview' and that led to the disappearance of the instructions that I had been following at the top of the screen before I was all the way through the process. At that point I was (I thought from recollection) most of the way through the process so I felt I had little option but to proceed as best as I could. You will appreciate, I'm sure, that it is difficult to "follow the instructions [...] precisely and thoroughly" when they disappear part way through a process that the user hasn't previously had any awareness of.
I do take very seriously your comment above, because a procedural keep would not have been the result I was looking for. However, I'm somewhat at a loss as to exactly what it was that I did wrong. I noticed the bot comment re: "not correctly transcluded" some days ago but I'm afraid that I don't know what that word means and nor do I understand in what way the nomination was "not correctly transcluded".
Any assistance here would be very gratefully received. Axad12 (talk) 04:12, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
