Into the Pandemonium

[edit]

Greetings! I used to go by the name of Musicaindustrial. Are you still editing Wikipedia? I'm currently working on the Into the Pandemonium. I'll need some help in the near future, I'm planning to turn it into a Good article. Thanks! CalmonTellechea (talk) 13:39, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Help! Sarcófago Article

[edit]

Hey man, I'm having trouble with the copyright tags of this picture [1] of Wagner Lamounier aka "Antichrist" playing live. I've just listed Sarcófago as a "good article" candidate, and I think this picture is integral to its content... I wouldn't want it erased. Could you help me out on this one? Thanks. Musicaindustrial (talk) 09:09, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How's the grindcore article doing, by the way? It has been a good article candidate for some time now... Musicaindustrial (talk) 11:34, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Grindcore GA review

[edit]

Have you seen this? Musicaindustrial (talk) 22:02, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm the reviewer. Greetings Wandalstouring (talk) 17:22, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You can insert more music samples in the grindcore article. Take care that they're from a non-copyrightviolating source as suggested and pick them to illustrate the different styles of grindcore. I'll take care of the REDPENOFDOOM and his rather arrogant behaviour. Wandalstouring (talk) 11:09, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, but I said non copyrightviolating sources. Is there something unclear about this? Please do speedily specify for each of your sources why it isn't violating copyright. Wandalstouring (talk) 09:00, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The article looks quite good. I'll take a closer look until Sunday. Wandalstouring (talk) 14:52, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I created this article just now; thought you might like to know. Cheers. Musicaindustrial (talk) 13:00, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

pity

[edit]

i've been trying to hunt down the author all morning. it's an absolutely wonderful distillation of the 3+ hour movie - saw it recently and it's still haunting me. cheers though! Nekoeleven (talk) 21:04, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Extreme Noise Terror

[edit]

In case you're interested, I just finished a first draft of the Extreme Noise Terror article. Any help, suggestions etc. always gratefully received! Blackmetalbaz (talk) 13:29, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

GA nomination of Sarcófago

[edit]

Old friend, the Sarcófago article is currently being reviewed for GA status by admin  GARDEN . Would you like to give some of your reliable input on this process? Thanks a lot. Musicaindustrial (talk) 16:43, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Assück

[edit]

Having a somewhat minor problem with the Assück page in that SPAs (in this case an IP and a newly created account claiming to be a member of the band) are constantly removing sourced material (genre, obviously... what else?!) from Terrorizer and Maximumrocknroll because they don't like how the journalists have desribed them. Just a heads-up. The page is something of a headache as it is, as they have no website, no decent biographies exist and I'm struggling to find interviews. Terrorizer and Maximumrocknroll obviously consider them important, so I suspect they pass WP:MUSIC. I've added what I can in terms of sources (even if people do keep removing them) but if you spot anything else let me know. Blackmetalbaz (talk) 11:48, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Grindcore GA

[edit]

I'll look into that. Musicaindustrial (talk) 08:03, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've lowered the protection level so that non-new registered users such as yourself can create it. You should, however, find more sources, rather than one article in a solid reliable source and two articles from the same bloggish online zine. --Orange Mike | Talk 22:50, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Grindcore

[edit]

I'll try and have a look at it... the main problem it seems is the lead, which you seem to be doing a good job of sorting. I'd actually be tempted to incorporate some more information about the various grindcore subgenres, either within the "legacy" section or as a separate subsection; there are certainly enough sources now (in fact, I'd say enough to recreate the deathgrind article). I've done a small amount of work on the goregrind and pornogrind articles, which admittedly are not brilliant but I reckon far better than they were, if still only stub level. Please feel free to have a look and make suggestions! Blackmetalbaz (talk) 21:46, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Crash Worship

[edit]

Hi. I think that the site I got my list from pulled their member list from the band's myspace. Hope that answers your question. = ∫tc 5th Eye 23:32, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Merry Thoughts

[edit]

Hello! The article on German gothic rock band TMT is up for deletion. I've been sparring with an admin who clearly has no understanding of the musical genre, or TMT's notability within it, and would be very grateful if you could assist in the AfD discussion before s/he manages to have the article terminated. Thank you ChiRed (talk) 23:38, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please disregard the previous comment as it is a violation of WP:CANVASS. Ndenison talk 13:22, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Art punk/Avant punk merger

[edit]

This merger discussion is long dormant, but there seem to be three votes in favor of merger. I am in favor, as well. Is there any reason this should not proceed, despite the long time lapse? ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 02:55, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Deathgrind

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Deathgrind. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Deathgrind. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Industrial Roll Call

[edit]

Hi there! I'm trying to figure out how many active members are still interested in working on WikiProject Industrial. I've added a lot of new articles to our project space, and categorized every article already in the project. Please go to the project's talk page and indicate if you're still interested in working on the project, and feel free to add any other articles you want to the project scope. Hopefully we can get this project moving again! Thanks. Torchiest (talk | contribs) 16:13, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As u r an editor of industrial music-oriented articles, would u mind adding to a discussion about this article's genre? Dan56 (talk) 00:15, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewer granted

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged revisions, underwent a two-month trial which ended on 15 August 2010. Its continued use is still being discussed by the community, you are free to participate in such discussions. Many articles still have pending changes protection applied, however, and the ability to review pending changes continues to be of use.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under level 1 pending changes and edits made by non-reviewers to level 2 pending changes protected articles (usually high traffic articles). Pending changes was applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't grant you status nor change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.

If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Dabomb87 (talk) 14:18, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Please check out Talk:Japanese noise rock, I'd like your feedback before I do anything with this article. Thanks! MrMoustacheMM (talk) 23:31, 21 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
