January 2011

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Latif Yahia, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 06:43, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Latif Yahia, you may be blocked from editing. —C.Fred (talk) 06:46, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising, as you did at Latif Yahia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a repository of promotional text. Please do not insert ad copy, full book blurbs, or the like into articles. If you are adding text, make sure it has neutral point of view and is backed up by reliable sources. Also, please exercise great caution in editing this article or any other where you have a conflict of interest. —C.Fred (talk) 06:52, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Username concerns

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. However, I noticed that your username (Arcanumpublishing2011) may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it is the name of the company that publishes Latif Yahia's most recent book; company names should not be used as usernames. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account and use that for editing. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 06:44, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely because its username is a blatant violation of our username policy – it is obviously profane; threatens, attacks or impersonates another person; or suggests that your intention is not to contribute to the encyclopedia (see our blocking and username policies for more information).

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames, and trolling or other disruptive behavior is not tolerated.

If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. —C.Fred (talk) 06:56, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
