User talk:Another-anomaly/uicclf
What was this page?
[edit]It was a harmless "hall of shame" that got deleted (citing WP:CIVIL of all things) because the editors featured in the page did not appreciate their wrongful actions/edits being accurately pointed out for all to see. To quote an administrator from the deletion poll, "If Aliases had been used, then I would have voted to keep". But the whole point of the page was to warn others of the actions/edits of the individuals named in the page in order to indicate a solid history of unnecessary edits that do not contribute (in fact, do harm) to the Wikipedia project.
Please do not re-create this page even if you have seen and agree with the content on the page prior to its deletion. The editors mentioned on the page know who they were, and some are currently being apprehended/blocked for continuing the practices mentioned on the page, while others have either gotten away with the actions or have since then learned from the experience and matured. If you followed a link to the page, please do not edit the content, or even blank it for that matter, but please keep this talk page in tact for future reference.
As indicated by the history of this talk page, I kept it open during the duration of the page so if anyone had any objections they could be talked out here and resolved (the page was never a "rant page" or meant to breach any rules whatsoever). During the deletion process for the page, I made a comment on this page pertaining to the proposed deletion of my Wikipedia account. Since then I have cooled off and take back those statements, although the censorship accusations are still supported by others that have witnessed the events on these pages.
Please respect this page, and therefore its status according to Wikipedia's deletion process. I do not wish for the page to be recreated, nor any other page depicting the actions of the editors mentioned. All I wish is for this talk page to stand as a neutral testimony pertaining to the events that occurred on the user-space page in question, and to end any and all discussion regarding the page, as it is now over. If you feel you have a comment regarding this page or the currently-deleted page, please see my talk page instead.
