Zeno Akkose

[edit]

Actually I don't know anything about (Zeno) Akkose. There isn't much to find on the internet. The article gave me just enough information to gather it had to be a Pontic Greek community in northern Greece close to Trabzon, which suggested to me there might be some sense to it after all. Almost all the sites mentioning Akkose are in Turkish, which I don't read, but some of them also contain the word Zeno. For more info we really depend on the original author, or someone who can read Turkish and may add some further info from the Turkish Wikipedia page. I don't see any need for having two pages. A redirect from Zeno to Akkose would do perfectly. Best wishes, --Fabullus (talk) 07:42, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

akkose is the village where i was born and grow up....but now actually you cant find mamy people to talk even...because most of the inhabitant immigrated to different part of the turkey because of economic reason..afew people still live there and try to live teir culture...(dance,foods , language )

Ivan Dixon

[edit]

Hi, I think you've probably reverted my edits to Mr. Dixon's Wikipedia article. I am a friend of the family but I don't know when an official obituary will be published. I will leave the article until I can cite a source. Probably in the Charlotte newspaper or the NY Times. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.134.100.89 (talk) 23:56, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Days of the year guideline

[edit]

As a frequent contributor (or vandal patroller) to the days of the year articles (WP:DAYS), your comments on the current state of the proposed guideline for that project would be greatly appreciated. Discussion is taking place here. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 19:03, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It really is not an attack page. It's about a fictional character who happens to be-- a Cyclops. <<LOL>> Cheers, Dlohcierekim 02:45, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AIV reporting

[edit]

Hi, I noticed you had trouble with the template when reporting User:Dog+cat=no (who I blocked by the way). That's because they have an equals sign = in their username. Whenever there is an equals sign in a template parameter (in this case their username was the template parameter but in any other template it will also mess up) you can avoid the problem by using the parameter name. In the case of the AIV template it would be {{Vandal|1=Dog+cat=no}} but for a different template it might be something like {{some random template|username=Dog+cat=no}}. The reason is the template thinks everything before the equals sign is the parameter name but the template doesn't have the parameter Dog+cat so it messes up. I hope this helps and hasn't baffled you (it makes sense to me but my explanation may not be the best). Anyway thanks for reporting them and keep up the good work. James086Talk | Email 12:06, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It was no problem, I needed a break from vandal reverts anyway. The first time I came across that problem I was very new (a few weeks I think) and it blew my mind, I thought templates always worked if you copy and change the username of what another user has done. See you round, James086Talk | Email 02:03, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Albury Junior Badminton Club

[edit]

Hi, I think you've just tried to deleted the entry for Albury Junior Badminton Club. It is a large, active and non-profit badminton club in the South East of England with aims such as development young people and assisting in physical education in the local area. We would be very grateful if it is not being deleted. I will be adding more information to it soon. Many thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jkl21 (talkcontribs) 10:38, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question regarding citing sources

[edit]

Accuzer, my source for the article (Beerkada) is the books themselves and the author, of whom I have asked permission before making the entry. how should I put this in the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Beerkadafan (talkcontribs) 11:29, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: His Holiness Riaz Ahmed Gohar Shahi

[edit]

Hello, Accurizer, basically we are working in USA and UK with this spiritual personality and we have somewhat different point of thought, what has been put on the other page that you are pointing to, so it makes it necessary for us to let our opinion deliver to the world. Thanks.

If this title is causing confusion, we can change it but can we have right to tell the world what is the exact truth . For any kind of clarification I can be reached at 001-571-4352284 Kamranhg (talk) 00:27, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Riaz Ahmed Gohar Shahi

[edit]

Not that I want to drag you into this, but I'm a little confused. Apparently, the subject of the article actually died in 2001, but his followers may believe that he's not really dead, he's just uh, changed forms or something. The reason I bring this up is because apparently User:Kamranhg removed all references to his death in the original article (ie. the one he didn't create.) If you look around using Google, you can find some somewhat solid reference to him dying, though, so, I don't know. Should I try and return the guy's death info to the original article? Like I said, I'm a little confused. Rnb (talk) 00:32, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Like I said this is not true. Infact His Holiness is living with us in USA and we are working under His guidance. Kamranhg (talk) 00:37, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What would be reliable source other than that you can speak or even meet His Holiness personaly and I already gave contact information. We don't want people to be misleaded as mentioned in the other page. Thanks Kamranhg (talk) 00:51, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

His Holiness Riaz Ahmed Gohar Shahi

[edit]

Hi Accurizer, I am not miunderstanding the facts and figures and policies of the wikipedia. But I am telling the world what is truth and people should not be misleaded any ways if there is wrong information posted on the Internet. Is all the information posted on the internet 100% true ? Definitely not. There are people with different beliefs in all the religions but it is not necessary to have faith in all of them. This personality is currently living with us but people are putting wrong information on the internet including wikipedia and we want to remove false information from the internet (atleast from Wikipedia, which people believe to be a very reliable source). I'd appreciate your comments and feedback. Kamranhg (talk) 17:30, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
