Adding rows to LGBT lists

[edit]

It's good that you're contributing to LGBT-related TV series and films lists, but it would be a great help if you were more careful with how you do it. I corrected your edits: 1, 2. (Also, as this is the English-language Wikipedia -- there's no preference between American and British -- it's uneccessary to use the "|language=en" citation parameter. If a source is not in English, then of course it's used.) Pyxis Solitary (yak). L not Q. 13:15, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the feedback @Pyxis Solitary. I wasn't aware of the formatting requirements for citations and lists; I'll keep an eye out for this in the future. A.L. Garner (talk) 14:47, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Glad you took it well. Using VisualEditor to edit tables is a problem because VE does not recognize the wiki markups that are visible in the Source screen. This may be helpful for you: Wikipedia:VisualEditor#Limitations > Unaware of table formatting done by templates. Pyxis Solitary (yak). L not Q. 07:57, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The Wikimedia LGBTQ+ User Group is holding online working days in May. As a member of WikiProject LGBT studies, editing on LGBTQ+ issues or if you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, come help us set goals, develop our organisation and structures, consider how to respond to issues faced by Queer editors, and plan for the next 12 months.

We will be meeting online for 3 half-days, 14–16 May at 1400–1730 UTC. While our working language is English, we are looking to accommodate users who would prefer to participate in other languages, including translation facilities.

More information, and registration details, at QW2021.--Wikimedia LGBT+ User Group 02:33, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
