Welcome!
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the ones you made to Boost Mobile. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.
Here are some links to pages you may find useful:
- Contributing to Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- Simplified Manual of Style
You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a certain number of days and made a certain number of edits.
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (76.223.244.197) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Happy editing! HiLo48 (talk) 07:10, 28 July 2019 (UTC)
The Viacom article
[edit]Hello, I'm Ifnord. I noticed that you recently removed content from Viacom (1952–2006) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You have removed referenced material. Please discuss such changes on the article's talk page first. Ifnord (talk) 13:22, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Major film studio, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Protected page
[edit]What do you mean by "my page"? Is it a page about you? HiLo48 (talk) 03:49, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
- I suspect your concerns would be easily sorted out by registering as a user on Wikipedia. It has many advantages, and no disadvantages that I have discovered yet in my time here. For example, right now it's easy for me to discover that you are editing from (or near) Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. If you register, you actually become far more anonymous, and cannot be traced so easily. HiLo48 (talk) 00:33, 7 April 2020 (UTC)
- You will get a new page that is exclusively yours. The problem with this page is that it's associated with your current IP address, which is owned and issued by your Internet Service Provider. Your ISP can change your IP address at any time, and you current address could be issued to somebody else, meaning this page would then belong to someone else. With some ISPs, that happens daily! Edit summaries
[edit]Hey, here’s a friendly tip: please explain what you’re adding in the edit summaries instead of just saying “added information”. Doing the latter doesn’t help explain your edit at all. Thanks! ShadowCyclone talk 18:24, 26 June 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm GoneIn60. Your recent edit(s) to the page Blockbuster LLC appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been removed for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GoneIn60 (talk) 06:51, 27 June 2020 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
