Polish Air Force

[edit]

Stop Your vandalism. There is no place for political POV in Wikipedia. Most of PAF history is part of history of People Republic of Poland. That's the fact You maust agree. Isn't it? And other reason - replacing high resolution images by poorer ones is not the way of improvung article. If You got pre-war photos of PAF aircraft on free lincence fell free to add it. Do we realy need photo of bottom of F-16??? In addition F-16 is not only PAF aircraft. Ther is 3 photos of F-16 when each other aircraft is represented by one... Radomil talk 19:47, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Nope. If You were right I wouldn't change pictures made by my self to other ones as I did. I just don't agree with Your changes. F-16 is not the most numerous aircraft of PAF. There is no reason to overrepresentation of this one tyype of machine and cutting off history section (in which those old aircraft are) cause of people that do not read the text. I don't have an account set up, At this point I think we can come to a compromise and include both versions, I will make a few changes let me know what you think... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.149.136.97 (talk) 20:43, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not US-centric in it's idea. So I care of Americans opinion as much as Americans care about European stereotype of stupid and ignorant Americans that do not know that there is some civilisation outside US borders. Radomil talk
And, please, do not put non-Polish Air Force aircraft piutures to this article! I don't know if You know, but not each aircraft witch wihite & red chessboard is aircraft of Polish Air Force! Radomil talk 21:56, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Making mistakes, like putting aircraft of Polish Naval Aviation to this Article instead of PAF or throwing out historical aircraft from history section is not compromise. Your edition are decreasing level of the article. That's the point. Radomil talk 22:21, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dear anon. I have two suggestions: 1) register and 2) discuss issues on talk, keeping cool. Once you register you may want to ask for input from other interested editors, from WP:PWNB or WikiProject Aviation.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 20:45, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. You just don't understand some concepts of keeping web pages clean and free of having too much stuff... like on the PAF page there were too many pics of old aircraft and almost non of the new, it looked as if the Polish Air force was still flying the planes form the 1950's. In a web page like this you try to put good information in, but at the same time you try to make things user friendly. People who go into a web page like this try to seen how things look right now and compare. When all you include is stuff form the past, a wrong impression is created... anyway, if you don't get it then I can't help you there. Like I said, I won't try and change things at this point, if you want to be responsible for this trash heap than you got it...
