[edit]Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 17:26, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Mother Up!, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. Diffusing categories
[edit]I've just noticed some of your edits, like this one toThe Closer and this one to Heartland (2007 American TV series), where you added state categories. Please do not do this before verifying that the show is not already sufficiently categorized. For example, The Closer already had the category Category:Television shows set in Los Angeles, so the Category:Television shows set in California is redundant. If you look at the page Category:Television shows set in California, by the way, you'll see the notice, "Pages in this category should be moved to subcategories where applicable." That's a clue that these are what's called "diffusing categories" and don't need to be (i.e., shouldn't be) duplicated.
I've reverted the two edits mentioned above, but it'd be nice if you would check your recent edits and self-revert where appropriate. Your recent edit to Paradise PD seems to be fine, by the way, so only some may need to be changed.
Thanks, and happy editing — JohnFromPinckney (talk / edits) 17:57, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
- @JohnFromPinckney This is a known vandal who has done this for several years and is block evading; just have to remember their last IP, which I know is already blocked. Nate • (chatter) 20:47, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Revenge (TV series) and countless other articles. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. — JohnFromPinckney (talk / edits) 19:46, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Hotel for Dogs (film), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. — JohnFromPinckney (talk / edits) 19:56, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
