Welcome to Wikipedia!!! First of all, I would like to thank you for visiting Wikipedia and my personal page. I'm a native speaker of English, and love reading fantasy books; may I introduce some to you? The Dragonlance series, Shannara series, and Animorphs are my favourites. Anyway, I hope that Wikipedia will become an even better encyclopedia than it is already.
I just came back from a very long Wikibreak; so I just want to let you Wikipedians know that somewhere out there, I'm still alive. That means you're free to ask me any questions, or contact me about anything (and everything). I'm still open for coaching, so send me a message if you need a coach. If you want someone else for whatever reason, look here. I'm only free on weekends though, so I won't be able to respond to your messages that quickly. And my autograph page is still up and running, so don't hesitate to add your siggie in there! And I have a couple (only a couple, I'm afraid...I'm too lazy to make more =)) of cards that I've made featured here; take a look! Well, that's all I guess. Cheers and a happy new year to you! Edit: I am no longer active on Wikipedia (as a User, at least) so I'm afraid I can't answer questions from anyone - I suggest that you try looking for an active User around the site if you really need help. When all else fails, moderators, admins, even the Community Portal on your left will work. See you around!
Aucanquilcha is a large stratovolcano located in the Antofagasta Region of northern Chile, just west of the border with Bolivia and within the Alto Loa National Reserve. Part of the Central Volcanic Zone of the Andes, it takes the form of a ridge, with a maximum height of 6,176 metres (20,262 ft). The volcano is embedded in a larger cluster of volcanoes known as the Aucanquilcha cluster. This was formed in stages over 11 million years of activity with varying magma output, including lava domes and lava flows. Aucanquilcha was formed from four units that erupted between 1.04 and 0.23 million years ago. During the ice ages, both the principal Aucanquilcha complex and the other volcanoes of the cluster were subject to glaciation, resulting in the formation of moraines and cirques.Photograph credit: Diego Delso
Type the first couple of letters in the username box: wait 15-seconds and the box will magically appear with usernames starting with that letter combination
If the username is still not there, type in another letter and wait. Usernames are case, punctuation, and space sensitive, so if a username is CamelCased, has punctuation, or has spaces, you will have to try those variations too.
If you have ever conversed with them, you could check the histories of your own talk page and talk page archives. Set your view to (500).
In your contributions, you could limit the namespace to user talk, and that would give you the names of all the users you have posted to on their talk pages. The same with the talk namespace (via your contributions).
You could also search the talk namespace for your own signature, to locate the threads where others may have replied to you
Where do they hang out? What are they renowned for? If you can remember where they have posted messages, then you can find their username.
Users Search box for users by name or official capacity
Wikipedia has keystroke combinations that can speed up your work, like ⇧ Shift+Alt+F to "focus" on (jump to) the search box, ⇧ Shift+Alt+M to move the current page and its talk page, ⇧ Shift+Alt+T to open the current article's talk page, ⇧ Shift+Alt+Y to open a list of your user's contributions, and many more. Those are for Windows users. On the Mac OS, press Control instead of ⇧ Shift+Alt. For some browsers, the accesskey is the Alt key instead. For details see Keyboard shortcuts.
