Alex Hernandez (born May 26, 1999), known professionally as Keph, is a Mexican-American content creator, video game personality, producer and social media influencer from Kansas. He rose to attention through his time playing the mobile MMO Dark Legends. He is best known for being the most hated player & for his reckless acts of evil.
Biography
[edit]Keph was born in May 26, 1999. In 2011, he began playing his first ever MMO, Pocket Legends. After a year, he moved on to Dark Legends. However, he quit for two years, and returned in mid 2013. After playing for years, he managed to make a name for himself to the point of being hated by not just the community and players, but even the developers as well. This amount of hatred resulted in an unfortunate permanent ban for all of his accounts & devices in July of 2018. After multiple attempts at convincing the developer team to unban the accounts, Keph decided to move towards a new goal - Youtube.
Early life
[edit]Playing since early 2012, Keph began making a name for himself around Dark Legends by owning a rapidly growing guild named "Gods of Devastation" After reaching nearly 1,300 members, Keph distanced himself from the guild and left to pursue the top rank in the PvP leaderboards. He would go on to place third on the DM Kills leaderboards, third on the DM deaths leaderboards, and first on the DM K/D ratio leaderboards. (on his alternate account, "Text") He would reach the top of the Dark Legends community, being able to speak directly to the developers and moderators. He challenged the main developer and owner of the game to a 1 on 1 battle, but with only player items. (moderators carry their own items much more powerful than anything in the 'actual' game) to which he refused.
Ban and Afterward
[edit]After being banned in July of 2018. Many of his guild members assembled into another guild which he led for a few months on his alternate account.
Later, he decided to disable to guild and allow them to form their own. He would then proceed to use his remaining account named 'Kaph" to donate his wealth to everyone he saw. He had a total of nearly $8 Billion in this alternate account. He was able to give away $4.3 Billion before being banned again.
He later continued his journey by expanding into the Youtube world, now reaching over 600 subscribers on his channel "Kephy" (As of May 30,2019)
He stated "This company will die without me" prior to his ban. Almost a year after his ban and it seems as though that may be true. Spacetime Studios has shut down 6 games in this time. Many are saying the company is dying, due to a rapid decrease in players, their CEO abandoning them & terrible updates
Notable Recognitions
[edit]Although he achieved many things throughout his game time, some stand out more than others. Early 2017, Keph became the most hated player on Dark Legends. Recognized by the Developers as "The most toxic human on earth" Recognized as the richest player in the game for 2 consecutive years. (2016-2018) Led 4 large guilds throughout his game lifetime. A total of nearly 3,500 members. Donated roughly $4.3 Billion (in-game currency) to players after his main account was permanently closed. (He was banned again before being able to donate the remaining $3.8 billion on his alternate account.) Recognized as the single most powerful player in the game. (based on following and amount of trained PvP guild members) Placed third on both DM Kills & DM Deaths leaderboards before being banned. Placed first on the DM K/D Ratio leaderboard on an alternate account. ("Text")
