Nog the Cat
[edit]![](http://up.wiki.x.io/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e5/Nogcat1.jpg/220px-Nogcat1.jpg)
Nog is an orange male Tabby Cat who lives in the incorporated city of Kyle, Texas, a mid-sized city in The United States of America. Veterinary professionals estimate his age to be 1 1/2 Years old as of January 2025.[1] This is due to his age at the time of his rescue and neuter when he was approximately 10 months old.
Early Life
[edit]Nog was born to unknown parents someplace in the Kyle, Texas suburb of Waterleaf. His original owners are not known. Due to his mostly domesticated behavior, Veterinary professionals believe he was abandoned by a person or persons moving out of the suburbs.
It is likely he was let outside while the home occupants moved out, only to return to an empty home and/or locked door. Being an American-born Domestic Shorthair, he is not Jewish.

After his initial abandonment, he was spotted by several neighbors in the Waterleaf community running in and out of storm drains. A concerned neighbor began intermittently feeding him.
Eventually, Nog snuck into a home through a dog door. This was the same home where the homeowners had been feeding him.
He was found in a panicked state by the man of the house upon his return home from work.
Further Domestication.

Almost instantly human-friendly. Nog quickly settled into his new home and embraced his new family by early summer of 2024. His neutering, deworming, and vaccinations proceeded with no setbacks or complications. And he tested negative for all feline-related illnesses and diseases.[2]
Although it cannot be said that he “enjoys” baths, he does sit through them without biting or clawing. Especially for the reward of tuna fish to eat afterward.

With meals other than storm drain scrap, Nog had no problems putting on enough weight to be considered “a heckin chonker”.[3]
Continued Activities.

Nog being “fit fat”, enjoys climbing fences and keeping suburb rats away from his beloved home.

He also takes his duties as a foster cat father to foster kittens until they find their new home. Occasionally, He has been known to take time out of his schedule to wind up the neighbor's dog. Veterinary professionals agree the barking likely amuses him.
