Waqas Azam Chaudry

Waqas Chaudry, the founder and CEO of renowned advisory firm Admission Advisors, was educated at Aitchison College, Lahore and graduated from York University with a degree in BAS (Bachelors in Administrative Studies). Since the initiation of Admission Advisors in 2005, the company has made rapid progress in its field. Today, Admission Advisors is the only company in Pakistan to represent the most Canadian universities under one name. Waqas has taken active part in the ICEF 2010, 2011 and 2012, a bringing together of international educators and high-quality student recruitment agents at networking forums around the world. ICEF is dedicated to achieving results and developing international student enrolments and is considered one of the most prestigious conferences’ for recruiters and educators. He has also been a member of the International Educators Association in Canada, a body established in November 1982, with the aim of advancing the international dimensions of higher education. In addition, Waqas has been an active member of several other International conferences and workshops for recruiters. From being a school prefect at Aitchison, Waqas has continued to expand his achievements, as a member of the York Federation of Students (2002-2005), a candidate for President at the Atkinsons’ Student Association and the student ambassador for Pakistan at York University (2003-2005). He has also worked with the York liaison office for a year and has been a member of the International Education Association of Educators of Canada, since 2009 to date. He has also gained widespread recognition as a speaker and/or visitor for many universities, including Trent University ( 2009 onwards), The University of Western Ontario (2005-2010), Mount Allison (2007-2008), York University (2006-2009),Humber College (2007-2009) and Fanshawe College (2007). In 2010, he visited Acadia University, Saint Frances Xavier, Saint Mary’s and Brock University. In the same year, he was also selected as a participant of the Educators Conference’s in Toronto (May), Berlin (October), and Miami (December). He was also a selected participant of EduNova (familiarization tour to Nova Scotia).
