Dark Empire of Granbretan

[edit]

If Dark Empire of Granbretan is going to be a redirect to Dorian Hawkmoon, then Dark Empire of Granbretan needs to be mentioned in the Dorian Hawkmoon article. If possible, could you please edit Dorian Hawkmoon to include some information about Dark Empire of Granbretan? Thanks, Kingturtle (talk) 01:09, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for File:EastRidge Sports Logo.png}

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:EastRidge Sports Logo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. I did find this article from Wall Street Journal partner Livemint about the Devdas films, that specifically confirms the 1937 Assamese version: by Sanjukta Sharma (June 7, 2008), "Multiple Takes: Devdas’s journey in Indian cinema -- from the silent era of the 1920s to the opulent Hindi blockbuster of 2002". Your solution works for me at Bacchus beads

[edit]

Or maybe just suggest a redirect to Krewe of Bacchus? - Dan Dank55 (push to talk) 16:47, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, prolly should have found the merge/redirect template. Still working out the intricacies in the procedures, so it would be good practice for me, especially when one of the things I've decided to participate in is CSD watching (so abused....)Vulture19 (talk) 17:15, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Glad you're on board, we need more people who follow CSD policy. - Dan Dank55 (push to talk) 17:41, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Denial of speedy deletion of Charonne Mose

[edit]

Thanks for your quick review of my tagging of Charonne Mose for speedy deletion. Perhaps I was a bit rash but I wonder if there is a more appropriate action for me to take when it is clear someone is writing an article of "marginal importance" about themselves. Thanks for your help. I'm still trying to find my way around here. Danwalk (talk) 03:34, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi. I saw your comment on my User talk page about this article, but I'm not sure you've got the right editor: as far as I can remember, I've never actually edited Ferguson's page! Loganberry (Talk) 16:45, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

That was my fault, it happens when you lift certain cool things from other people's pages, and don't change them to fit your own. By the way, you have a good voice for this, and I know what you mean with certain gramatical problems with the article. But, it sounds good to me overall, if someone fixes the sentences (not my forte), it could be read again if someone want to put forth the effort again. Thanks again ! For spotting Leah Horowitz and posting at Project Judaism.Historicist (talk) 17:36, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, my mistake, I misread the date it was opened. I've restored the article and re-opened the discussion. Lankiveil (speak to me) 13:35, 27 March 2009 (UTC).

You mentioned in Jan 09 interest in a collaborative effort to work on the CMM page. I am available to help. I may have some resources available for the page such as content and imagery. I have already gone in and made a few edits. Mike (talk) 19:04, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
