Olympia Anastasopoulou (Athens, March 4, 1972) is a Greek politician, lawyer. She was a candidate MP in the prefecture of Lakonia with Potami in September 2015. Daughter of Doctor Kostantinos Anastassopoulos and Aikaterini Iliopoulou, she grew up in the Municipality of Zografou. In September 1997 she married Stephanos Adamopoulos, with whom he did two children in 2001 and 2004

Biography

She is a graduate of College of Athens and Law School with postgraduate studies in European Law and Business Administration. Attorney-at-law, 20 years of experience and an accredited ombudsman at the Ministry of Justice, has worked with large law firms and organizations in Greece and abroad, especially in the commercial, insurance and financial sectors. She speaks Greek, English, French and German.[1]

Political activity

She was elected municipal councilor of Paleo Faliro in the municipal elections of 2010 without any party support with active participation in the Life Quality Committee and was Chairman of the Immigration Integration Council and the Gender Equality Committee. At the end of her term of office, she joined the newly formed political party "Potami", participating in the founding conference of Lavrion. Since then, she has been serving the party, where she became a co-ordinator of local and regional development and afterwards responsible of the interior sector, as well as a member of the Political Council.[2]
