Over a period of 5 days, tornadoes touched down in the Upper Midwest, Central Plains and Southern US. The most significant tornadoes occurred in Arkansas and Wisconsin.[1]

Minnesota
F4 NE of Minnetonka, MN to NE of Milltown, WI Hennepin, Anoka, Ramsey, Washington, Polk 1730 80 miles (130 km) The first and most significant tornado family of the first day touched down NE of Lake Minnetonka before moving through Fridley, Forest Lake and south of Chisago City into Wisconsin. 2 people were killed and 40 injured, mostly in the Forest Lake area.[2]

F4 SW of River Falls to Campia Pierce, St Croix, Dunn, Barron 1745 75 miles (121 km) This tornado was likely produced by the same supercell that produced the above mentioned tornado family. This was the deadliest tornado of the 5th as 7 people were killed as farm houses they lived in were swept away.[2]
F4 SW of Meteor to Objibwa Rusk, Sawyer 1900 15 miles (24 km) Leveled rural farms and houses and killed 5 people.[2]
F3 6 miles W of Butternut Ashland 2000 15 miles (24 km) Half mile wide tornado demolished barns west of Butternut.[2]
F2 3 miles N of Haywood Sawyer 2000 ? Brief tornado destroyed a farm and home. Likely another tornado produced by the storm that created the Sawyer F4.[2]

F3 SW of Ellington to W of Ellington Hancock 1830 2 miles (3.2 km) Did $15,000 dollars in damages.[2]

F2 3 miles E of Cuba City to 3 miles NW of New Glarus Lafayette, Greene, Dane 1700 45 miles (72 km) Barns and rural schools were destroyed as this tornado tracked through mostly open country.[2]
