The 2022 Nippon Formula Championship Championship is the forty-second season of a fictional premier Japanese open-wheel motor racing as a competitor to Super Formula, and the twenty-eighth under the moniker of Nippon Formula Championship. It started in March 2022 and is due to be contested over twelve rounds. Gakuto Ishimori is the defending series champion.
