In the Wikipedia Manual of Style, it says:
- Proper names should retain their original spellings, for example, United States Department of Defense and Australian Defence Force.
There should be no exceptions to this rule. For example, in every article, UNEP should always be spelled United Nations Environment Programme. The Rockefeller Center should never be a "Rockerfeller Centre". The WTO should be spelled World Trade Organization everywhere, even in articles that use -ise. The British Labour Party shouldn't be spelled Labor Party, even in articles that use American English.
Please pay attention to capitalization: UNDP should be spelled United Nations Development Programme, not:
- United Nations development program(me) or
- United Nations Development program(me)
