Carthoris. The son of John Carter of Mars and Dejah Thoris, The Princess of Helium. The older brother of Tara. First appearance is in The Gods of Mars (his egg was mentioned in the end of A Princess of Mars). John Carter first meets his son after his return to Mars in the dungeons. "I leaned over and looked at him. There was something strangely familiar about his face yet I could not place him." John Carter of Mars in The Gods of Mars as he first sees Carthoris in the dungeon.
