Events by vTubers

[edit]

Is That vTuber a Singer?

[edit]

Is That vTuber a Singer? is an event modeled on and inspired by I Can See Your Voice, organized by the United States-based vTuber ChromoFox.[1] Also hosted by ChromoFox along with panelists Arpeggio Aoto, Eun Hyesung, Lia Nara, Rabet, Xero Moon and Yeoubi Ame, the game was held in a podcast that played through livestream via Twitch on December 3, 2023, following by a subsequent release on YouTube two days later.[2][3]

For this event, a "mystery singer" (aliased on Pokémon) is self-introduced to the panelists. After conducting interviews, they are deliberated to predict whether the mystery singer is good or bad.

Virtual I Can See Your Voice

[edit]

Virtual I Can See Your Voice (Korean버츄얼 너의 목소리가 보여; RRBeochyueol neoui moksoriga boyeo; MRPŏch'yuŏl nŏŭi moksoriga poyŏ) is an event canonically named after the South Korean program of the same name, organized by vTuber Luna (of Nareum), in cooperation with Dawon Digital and Home Music & Sound Studios.[5] Also hosted by Luna along with panelists Cha Hana, Dubulang, Hoorang, Jayeuk Bokkum, Kim Aenggo and Muse,[6] the game was held in a VRChat room that played through livestream via CHZZK on November 16, 2024.[7][8] Shin Gyung-sik was the guest artist, having appeared as a vTuber that recently made his debut three days prior to the game.[9][a]

As the event being held in a virtual studio, gameplay was also used similar to that of an actual program, albeit the vTuber's real name and identity displaying on-screen is revealed after the "stage of truth" performance. If the last remaining mystery singer is good, they will have release an original song; if the singer is bad, they win 200,000.[5]

  • Lip sync (rd. 1, 3)
Each mystery singer performs a lip sync to a song; good singers mime to a recording of their own, while bad singers mime to a recording by someone else.
  • Introduction (rd. 2)
Each mystery singer self-introduces to guest artist and panelists, but pitch-shifted to obscure their actual vocals. Good singers are telling the truth, while bad singers are allowed to lie.
