'Gary Fitzsimmons (born October 15, 1962) is an American politician from Dallas, Texas. Fitzsimmons is the elected District Clerk of Dallas County serving since 2007 after defeating the Republican incumbent in November of 2006. Fitzsimmons is the first Democrat to hold the office since 1982.
