Arli Mujkic

Arli Charles Mujkic is a Swedish-Bosnian entrepreneur. Having founded multiple technology companies[1], Mujkic is now CEO of EPTI, a Nasdaq First North Growth Market-listed, publicly traded, venture builder.[2][3][4]

Early life and education

[edit]

Mujkic was born in Bosnia 1986 and in 1993, when he was six years old, his family fled the civil war and settled in Enköping near Stockholm, Sweden.[5] He started to learn coding by hand (pen and paper) at seven years old [3] and by 14, he had founded his first venture - Truevision3D LLC., a commercial computer software 3D engine and SDK, with Sylvain Dupont and John Hart. He studied computer science briefly at Linköping University in Sweden before dropping out to pursue entrepreneurship after his first exit.[1]

Career

[edit]

In college, Mujkic founded Partybux, a customer acquisition and verification tool, which would later become his first 1M EUR exit.[6] Between Partybux and EPTI, Mujkic co-founded and ran ad-tech widget solution provider Swifler, online community platform Coinflip powering sites such as Pokerisivut.com, and software development company Mbit Studio, projects included developing wifi onboard systems and travel booking engines.[1]

Mujkic founded EPTI in 2017, along with co-founders Halida and Sanin Mujkic, and in 2018 raised capital through a number of backers, including investment company AllaNova[7], ex-Baker McKenzie chairman Mattias Hedwall[8], Gerard De Geer and Tord Lendau. The founders made a partial exit of EPTI in December 2020 selling approximately 10% on a 316 000 000 SEK valuation.[9]

In December 2021, EPTI raised another round by backers such as MOOR Holding (family office of Kaj Hed chairman and founding investor of Rovio)[10], Angelgate AG, Ash Pournouri (Avicii's former manager), Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist and Thoren Tillväxt AB.[11] Currently, Mujkic owns and controls 46.5% of EPTI.[12]

EPTI listed on Nasdaq First North in December 2021 under the identifier EPTI (EPTI.ST) through a reverse takeover of Invajo Technologies AB. EPTI was valued at 804M SEK as of the time of the reversed acquisition[13][14] [[Category:Living people]] [[Category:1986 births]] [[Category:Men]]
