Timothy Michael Earwood is an American poet often compared to the Poet Billy Collins. Earwood's poetry is language poetry that borders on paradox and philosophy. His spoken word pieces has found their way to Gnutella peer-based file sharing programs, such as BearShare and LimeWire.

[edit]- After moving from the Ozarks in Arkansas to the San Francisco Bay Area, Timothy began writing and recording spoken word pieces set to the backdrop of hand drumming and acoustic guitars (all written and played by himself), naming the project The Alexander Solution. He was cast as a street musician in the Gabriele Muccino film, The Pursuit of Happyness, starring Will Smith. Timothy currently resides in San Francisco, California.
- While living in Missouri during the 1990's, Timothy became associated with Peter Urban, the famous Karate Master who pioneered the style of Karate, Goju-Ryu, on the East Coast of the United States. Timothy was the student of David Box (Urban's most prized pupil). Timothy holds a 5th Degree Black Belt (Go-Dan Kuroi Obi), and hold the distinguished title of Renshi (Young Master).
- Timothy is a graduate of San Francisco State University with an emphasis in Physical Anthropology, Human Evolution, and Evolutionary Psychology.
