"7" — seventh studio album of Ukrainian rock bands Nerves, released on April 7, 2021 on the Navigator Records label. The album consists of 21 tracks[2][3][4][5][6][7][8].

The album consists of 21 tracks. The songs "Hooked", "Downed Fists", "My Demons", "Losses", "Negative Hero" and "N*** ya ya" were released earlier in the form of singles[9][10].

On mind of Alexey Mazhaev form InterMedia song in this album from "completely multidirectional songs" and noted that "Milkovsky seems to be confident in his fans who are ready not only to listen to the 70-minute record, but also to hang out with Zhenya on the waves of his moods and musical preferences, rushing from grunge to desperate the critic called this approach radical and noted that "listeners with a variety of musical tastes will be able to find material to their liking there."

According to the critic, the album began "loud, dirty, alt-rock", he noted the songs "Takeaway", "Stone", "Your Sea" saying that they sound in the range "from grunge to alternative lyrics" and further the critic noted the song "Downed Fists" calling it "swift and a melodic action movie." In his opinion, the song "Losses" is similar to "a typical hit of "Nerves" and will surely please those who have got used to the maximalism of the composition "Coffee is my friend"." The critic called the track "I'm not looking for Anyone" "desperate guitar acoustics", the track "Don't shoot" "harsh anti-war", the track "Poverty" was called "highly social", its plot was characterized as "the despair of Russian rock was also inspired by orphan folklore lamentations", the reviewer added that the track "contrasts very strongly and with narcissistic songs of "Nerves", and with actual requests of the public." The reviewer called the song "Wedding" "dreary", then the reviewer noted the song "Hooked", in his opinion, in the track "Milkovsky returns to youth vocabulary, problems and the simple desires of an ordinary person" and added that "there is no special satisfaction in the soloist's voice." In the track "Very sad", the reviewer noted that "the hero is not only sad, but also downright painful." In the song "I'm going on the road", the reviewer described the hero as "romantic" and "an excellent melodist", in the next composition "I remember", the critic noted that the hero "is sick of himself". The critic called the track "Fringe" "thoughtful", according to the critic, the track "Negative Hero" is "lyrically acoustic", and the tracks "N*** I'm for you" and "Big Games" the critic called "reminiscent of art-rock of the 70s" and advised to pay attention to these tracks.

"The album "7" is a classic gesture from the band "Nerves". In the days of clickbait music and songs for TikTok, we made a full-fledged longplay of twenty-one songs, while throwing out ten more. We don't focus on trends, we pay tribute to the firm and the time when people listened to music with albums. We didn't have a goal to take the quantity, we just have something to say"[12]

The lead singer of the group Evgeny Milkovsky wrote on his Instagram account:

"We tried unrealistically and invested everything we could here! From the heart! I hope you will appreciate it! With love, the Nerves group" [13]

Promotion

As a promotion, the group arranged a tour of the Russian and Ukraine cities[15][12]. Concert in Moscow was supposed to take place on July 3, 2021, but took place on October 10, 2021[16].

The album reached the seventh place in the Russian Apple Music chart for April 12-18 , 2021[17]. And to the first place in the BandLink "Daily Chart" chart for April 8, 2021[18]
