Born on September, 9th 2001 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, U.S.A to a Venezuelan mother and a Trinidadian father a mere two days before the infamous 9/11catastropy occurred. As his mother recalled “ He was a new born baby just one day old so we were still in the hospital (Trinitas Regional Medical Center) following his birth and while I was feeding him on the morning of 9/11 , I saw a “Breaking News” flash on the television screen then I literally saw the plane hit the second twin tower!... I was in shock and started to think Oh my God, we are all going to die! What is happening? I hugged him (Little Jeromy) so tightly and started to pray and sob openly”. Jeromy was born to sing and entertain as he showed early signs from inside his mother’s womb. His mother candidly tells of how alert and very active he would become every time she played the songs Reflection- by Christina Aguilera and There You Go- by P!nk. When young Jeromy was only three years old he joined Trinidad & Tobago’s soca diva Denise “Saucy Wow” Belfon on stage to sing her 2003 smash single, “Saucy Baby,” and he left a lasting impression with his bravery, charisma and passion for the arts. Jeromy continued to sing on the home front for friends and family in the humble community of Moruga where he was dubbed the “Birthday singer”. Anyone that was celebrating a birthday, he would ask if he could sing them happy birthday to the point where it became so hilarious that his relatives would sometimes pretend that it was someone’s birthday just to hear him ask to sing them happy birthday and deliver gracefully as usual.

At the age of six, Jeromy started taking steel pan lessons on the double tenor pan, (The National Instrument of Trinidad & Tobago) he also began to show his skills in song composition and by age nine he perfected his song writing abilities with the assistance of TUCO’s (Trinbago Unified Calypsonian Organization) annual song writing workshop and is now a singer/songwriter/pan player. In 2011, Jeromy began professionally recording his materials and taking part in community competitions where he managed to cup two calypso monarch titles which were the Moruga Carnival Committee Title followed by the Princes Town Regional Corporation Title.

Later that same year, Trinidad & Tobago’s soca super star Machel Montano took notice and a keen interest in little Jeromy when he was introduced to him by the Honorable Member of Parliament Clifton De Coteau and he also witnessed his performance before a sea of people at an emancipation day celebration concert. Machel Montano was taken aback and this led the star to empty his pockets; giving Jeromy all the cash he had in his possession (Three Hundred TTD) while Montano predicted his future success in the entertainment industry and heralding him “a future star.” In February 2012, Jeromy defended and retained his monarch title for the Princes Town Regional Corporation and he also emerged the winner of the Couva Carnival Committee (CCC) junior calypso competition in that same year. On August 31st 2012,Trinidad & Tobago was celebrating its 50th anniversary of independence (Golden Jubilee)as well as the success of Trinidad & Tobago’s Olympic gold medalist Keshorn Walcott and as a result, young Jeromy was officially contracted by T&T’s Government to perform at the home coming celebration of the Olympians which made National headlines as Jeremy’s photos wearing the Olympian’s Gold Medal that was placed around his neck by none other than Olympian Gold Medalist Keshorn Walcott himself was splash across the Trinidad & Tobago’s local daily news papers and creating a buzz about this new kid in town (JEROMY RODRIGUEZ)

In 2013, Jeromy Rodriguez was crowned the National Junior Soca Monarch of Trinidad and Tobago with his winning composition titled “Color Me Carnival”, He is the Founder & President of the Anti-Bullying Association of Trinidad & Tobago, the Junior Spokes Person for It’s Up To Me environmental, he is a bona-fied member of the Copyright Organization Of Trinidad & Tobago.

To date, Jeromy has written and professionally recorded: Hear My Cry, On De Ground, Color Me Carnival, Unsatisfied Nation, Blaze It Up, Keshorn (A tribute to 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist) and Summer Time. Jeromy also co- wrote: Love Somebody, Doh Take Me and he featured on Machel Montano’s 2012 International Soca Monarch winning piece titled “Float” as well as on the re-make of I Love My Country which was also originally recorded by National Icon Master Machel Montano.

Jeromy Rodriguez has had the coveted opportunity to perform at sold out concerts like Machel Monday and Iwer Wednesday, “Thank You Sparrow”, before massive crowds where his talent glowed and is always appreciated by patrons. Jeromy has been nominated by the International Soca Awards 2013 (ISA) for “Best Young Soca Artiste” of the year to be hosted in Grenada on August 6th 2013. He was also selected to compete on August 23rd 2013 against 10 other Caribbean state (CARICOM) National Soca Monarchs for the International Caribbean Junior Soca Monarch Title which he is confident he would win.
