Hello there, my name is Elita! You can also call me Eli.
I've had many names and usernames over the years, Elita being my most recent trans-name. It roughly means "chosen one" in Latin (when you have some artistic liberty).
You can use any pronouns for me. I generally consider myself to be non-binary. Sometimes I feel more masculine, other times more feminine.
I've been a long-time lurker, and I tend to just explore all the hidden places I can find, to both expand my knowledge of this platform and for fun. From talk-pages, to FAC, FLC, and GAN, to user-pages and more, I lurk and enjoy everything.
I generally oppose deletion of articles that have reliable sources and have some sort of purpose. I think many things that aren't currently allowed on Wikipedia should be allowed, more internet culture, fancruft stuff, and more articles on very hyperspecific things. I've always wanted to have my own website some day with a personal wiki to explore and write about all the things that interest me without fear of it getting deleted. It would most likely focus on internet culture first and foremost, it would be a kind-of successor to Everything Shii Knows if you're one of the 20 people who know what that was!
I think WP:ARTICLESIZE is a little bit absurd nowadays. More understandable in the mid-2000s when laptops, computers, and phones weren't all up to speed to load a moderately sized webpage. But times have changed (for Western civilization at-large at least), and I think the upper limit on article size needs to change. You shan't have to split off sections as often as you see now. Articles about such broad and complex topics *need* to be long, there's no way around it.
Don't edit things if you don't know how to do it properly. This site is an expansive giant, and understanding fully even one tiny part of it takes skill and diligence. This is mostly why I stick to creating redirects, fixing typos and such; there's a lower amount of learning of dense Wikipedia rules and guidelines. I don't have the time to, so I stick with editing things that are easy to me. You should be BOLD but have some common sense on what your strengths and weaknesses are too.
