The Resilient Barnstar
For months and months, for hundreds of edits, Mattwashdc persisted in developing a well researched, well written article regarding a special subject. It achieved GA status and was on its way to become FA. When criticisms of the product (a BLP) arose, Mattwashdc considered them carefully, thoughtfully, and fairly. S/he then accepted the criticisms and modified the article appropriately. (Yes, I was the one slinging the criticism and eventually the article was AfD'd after unsettling information arose.) This Resilient Barnstar is awarded in recognition of Mattwashdc's editing contributions and growth as a Wikipedian, with the hope (and encouragement) that s/he will again log on and continue to work to improve our encyclopedia. --S.
