A Drywall Lift is a tool used primarily for the lifting of drywall. Although various tools have been used for lifting drywall since the early 1910s, the drywall lift became the most common and efficient tool used for that application since the early 1970s.


History

In 1972, Roland Young of Grand Forks, North Dakota started the company Telpro Incorporated and officially patented what would become known as a Panellift®. This lift became the industry standard until other variations entered the market and the introduction of a foreign equivalents manufactured in Asia.
