Mothers of the Movement is a group of mothers whose children were victims of police brutality. They all created a group to support and help stop the brutal violence. In the article, it talks about the different mothers that been through the hardship of the brutality. They don’t have much recent points from this year. What I’ll contribute to this article is more recent events and more insight on the different mothers in the organization.

Pertaining to human rights, Mothers of the Movement is a great way to show how our rights are being mistreated. When it comes to human right, us as African Americans don’t get the same treatment as everyone else. Our rights are being pushed aside due to stereotypes put on us. Law enforcement especially don’t treat us properly. We get killed just by the clothes we wear, the color of our skins, and just wrongful judgement. Mothers of the Movement is a great way to improve our treatment and possibly put an end these wrongful killings.

Draft

Mothers of the Movement is a group of mothers whose children have been victims of gun violence and police brutality. Mothers of Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, Michael Brown, and others who children were victims of violence are apart of this group. They came together under Hillary Clinton's vision to have them tell the world their stories. Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon Martin's mother, isn't letting her sons death end her. She's taken action to have her sons spirit live on. Sybrina established the Circle of Mothers / Trayvon Martin Foundation which is a way to support women who have also lost children to gun violence. She still continuing her fight to end these senseless killings. Eric Garner's mother, Gwen Carr, is still making sure her son is remembered. She's been protesting at rallies and making sure justice gets served for her son and other victims. Gwen was recently arrested at Trump protest. She's taking a more activist approach in her fight for justice. Lesley McSpadden, Michael Brown's mother, has become widely known in the black community. Even though she doesn't want to be labeled as an activist. She wants to be as equal as everyone else. Thats what she only wants for her son since his passing. All these women are actually doing something to seek justice for the wrong thats been dealt to their sons and other black males and females.
