About Me

I am 20 year old student at the University of Central Florida nearing my senior year. I was born in Orlando, FL, but have also lived in Oregon and went to middle and high school in Port Orange, FL. My true passion in life is in everything life sciences, especially zoology, however, my path led me to become a Human Communications major, and I'm expecting to get my B.A. in the major in Fall of 2021. I also already have an A.A. degree in Public Relations/Organizational Communication from Valencia College. As somebody who has been involved in sciences for my entire life, getting used to the way things work in a field on the opposite end of the spectrum has taken some getting used to. Many resources have helped me become as great a Communications major as I can be, but Wikipedia has played one of the largest roles, along with many scholarly resources, of all. My goal after I graduate is to become a Social Media Manager for companies big or small, though somewhere in the gaming or sports industries is the plan, or a Community Manager for a major video game developer. I also plan on going back to college after working for a few years and getting another degree, whether it be a Communications M.A. or a Bachelors degree in a life science.

I have many favorite things, really just because I *enjoy* lots of things. My favorite sports are Basketball and MMA; my favorite NBA team is the Orlando Magic, for better or for worse. If I had to pick a favorite movie, I would have to go with The Social Network. Everything about that movie is great to me, from the story to the acting to the reality behind it all, as it is the story of the creation of Facebook. Speaking of social media, my favorite social media network is Twitter, which I tend to spend a bit too much of my time scrolling through.
