Texas Agriculture Codes

[edit]

The Texas Property Code is the statutory law enacted by the Texas state legislature to regulate agricultural practices, agricultural land, and farmers' cooperatives among other organizations. It also establishes the Texas Department of Agriculture to enforce these regulations. [1] The code was enacted in 1981 by Texas HB1436, 67th R.S. during the ongoing revision process begun in 1963.
