My favorite time in history is the 1970's. Although I did not grow up during this period I have a lot of knowledge from watching various movies, books , documentaries, or listening to music that was either made in that era or took place during it. In this article I will be covering the main events that took place in the 1970's.
Vietnam War- The U.S had been in combat in Southeast Asia for over 12 years by the time It was 1973 and they wanted out. The U.S signed a treaty with Vietnam and agreed to pull the majority of their troops out, along with stopping the bombings in Cambodia. In 1975 the fall of Saigon officially ended the war for the U.S. Here is a clip from the news when it happened, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3SfcSageUk. Cite error: There are <ref>
