What characteristics shared by the existing "good"+ articles on mathematicians?

There are currently 14 biographies of mathematicians which have received the "good article" status, and 9 "featured article" status.

For now I keep going back to the regular bio template to create the drafts/pages, then adding things. Maybe creating template along the lines of this: Template:Biography would be helpful.
