Mojdeh Shamsaie (born June 20, 1968, in Tehran, Iran) [1] is an Iranian theatre and film actor and makeup artist.

Biography

Mojdeh Shamsaie was born in Tehran and achieved her bachelor of arts degree in theatre from Azad University. In addition to theatre, she has been active in cinema as well, and was the make-up artist of the movie Shāyad Vaghti digar (a.k.a. Maybe Some Other Time) in 1987. She started acting in cinema by playing at Bahram Beyzaie's Mosāferan (a.k.a. Travelers) in 1992. She is currently living in Palo Alto, California. She is married to Bahram Beyzaie, one of Iran's most acclaimed filmmakers, playwrights, and scholars of the history of Iranian theatre.
