GREATMINDS FOUNDATION. This is personal platform created by myself, George Ochieng Ojwang, to share of my story to the world. It is aimed at encouraging someone out there as well as showing that in deed all is possible for whoever believes in God and then works extra hard in life.

BACKGROUND HISTORY OF GEORGE.O.OJWANG. George is a medical student in Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, JKUAT in Kenya. Currently in my third year of study. I have passion in future of majoring in research especially in infectious diseases upon completion of my current seven-year course, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, (MBChB). I come from a very humble family somewhere in Ywaya village, Sega location, Ukwala division, Ugenya sub-county in Siaya county.Having been raised in a humble background with NONE of the parents with neither formal education nor formal employment, a family that lived from hand to mouth kind of lifestyle, I surpassed all challenges to make it to campus to study one of the lucrative courses in the world, medicine. Not mentioning that in both primary and secondary schools, I went to day-schools just a stone throw distance away from home simply beacuse my parents/family could not afford school fees for the boarding schools although I was excellently performing. I lost my father, Mzee Patrick Ojwang in January 2014 in the morning, the same day the Kenya National Examination Counsel, (KNEC) was to release KCPE'S results. I was among the candidates who were waiting for their results that morning. What a saddening morning it was in deed?!!1
