Nomination
[edit]FrigidNinja (talk · contribs) I've been serving Wikipedia for a few months now, and I wish to be granted the Founder right. If given this, I would most certainly use it to desysop admins who disagree with me and send simple cases of edit warring directly to ArbCom.
Questions for the candidate
[edit]Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as a founder. Please answer these questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. How do you intend to found Wikipedia?
- A: I've been working on that, and I'm pretty sure it's impossible to travel back in time to found a wiki, so we'll just pretend I was there from the beginning.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: I fixed a typo once, but I can't find the diff.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Yes.
- Additional question from Hahc21
- 4. Do you find your Ninja skills beneficial for the project? How do you use them in dispute resolution?
- A: uʍop ǝpısdn ɯ,I 'sıɥʇ pɐǝɹ ʇ,uɐɔ 'ʎɹɹoS
- ¿uoıʇnlosǝɹ ǝʇndsıp uo ɹǝʍod ɐгuıu ɹnoʎ ǝsn noʎ op
- A: uʍop ǝpısdn ɯ,I 'sıɥʇ pɐǝɹ ʇ,uɐɔ 'ʎɹɹoS
- Additional question from John F. Lewis
- 5. You say you wish to de-sysop those whom disagree with you. Have you at all considered de-crating, de-stewarding, de-checkusering and de-oversighting yet?
- A: Yes, along with de-boting, de-researchering, de-autoconfirmeding, and de-registeredusering, but I didn't want to overwhelm or scare people.
- Would you in addition remove the flag from your fellow founder (should this request succeed) Jimbo Wales?
- Not if he's a good little boy.
- Would you in addition remove the flag from your fellow founder (should this request succeed) Jimbo Wales?
- A: Yes, along with de-boting, de-researchering, de-autoconfirmeding, and de-registeredusering, but I didn't want to overwhelm or scare people.
- Additional question from &
- 6. If I use my secret sysadmin powers to make you a founder, will you promptly desysop Reaper Eternal (talk · contribs) for deleting Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Example? — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 00:59, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- A:Yes, but I'll probably de-sysadmin you right after.
- You'll need shell access for that. Shall we take this to Meta, or should whichever of us is secretly Tim Starling reveal (him|her)self? — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 01:05, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Sudo make me a founder and de-sysadmin self immediately after.

- A:Yes, but I'll probably de-sysadmin you right after.
- Additional question from John F. Lewis
- 7. If given founder rights, Would you promptly give me CU and I can therefore assist you in taking down all of these users whom break, disagree or disregard all of your amazing and accurate policies?
- A: Go do some canvassing for me and I will.
- Will do. Right on it Sir FrigidNinja!
- A: Go do some canvassing for me and I will.
- Additional question from Cameron11598
- 8 Would you be willing to replace Arbcom with WP:WIKI INQUSITION?
- A: Nobody expects the Wiki Inquisition!
- Additional question from Steel1943
- 9. What just happened? Should I vote Neutral? Steel1943 (talk) 05:35, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- A: Why on earth would you want to do that?
- Additional question from User:B
- 10. Do you subscribe to the enlightened absolutism or tyrannical despot theory of founderism? If selected for Foundership, will you rule with an iron fist and use random bannings and arbitrary deletions of featured articles to keep the lackeys in line? --B (talk) 13:01, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- A: I will rule with a mithril fist as an enlightened tyrannical absolutist despot! Beginning in one month's time, a featured article will be deleted for every violation of WP:MOS, and every editor who forgets to sign their posts will be, not just banned, but BANISHED!

- As everyone who has created an account, or for that matter all 500 million people who have read a Wikipedia article in the last month have all found their way to Wikipedia, shouldn't we give them all this right? ϢereSpielChequers 03:58, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- It's requests for FOUNDership, not FINDership. FrigidNinja 04:06, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- That's right, for everyone who has found Wikipedia. ϢereSpielChequers 04:44, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose
[edit]- Strongest possible oppose Insufficient use of desysopping summaries. — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 00:39, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
#INFINITELY STRONG OPPOSEWhoops wrong candidate! —Soap— 00:47, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]- See you at RFAR, Soap. So glaring an error clearly qualifies as conduct unbecoming. — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 00:50, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
#Oppose - I don't wanna see a war between Frigid and Jimbo which leads to an epic lightsaber duel on Mustafar between the two, which leads to the loser getting burned and turned into a Sith Lord. Afterwards, the winner goes into exile on Tatooine, while a random non-sysop gets trained by the winner, creating the Rebel Alliance to overthrow the empire created by the losing founder. ZappaOMati 02:43, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]- Why on Earth would you not want to see that?! — PinkAmpers&(Je vous invite à me parler) 03:57, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Dude, I don't wanna get killed in the Great Sysop Purge when trying to protect the sysops from getting killed by the Sith Lord destroying the Village pump! ZappaOMati 04:02, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- This is the reason why. —stay (sic)! 12:01, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Well then, in that case... ZappaOMati 15:05, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- What do you mean "past and gone"? Still 11 hours left. FrigidNinja 12:44, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- It's an old thing from England, FrigidNinja - tradition was that you could only play April Fool jokes up until midday - and after that time, what I said above is what would usually be thrown at you if you tried to fool someone. :D Humblesnore (talk) 15:07, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
