The nickname is inspired by an ancient Belgian brewery producing Lambic, active in the production from 1851 to 1991 (though there are vintage dated until 1994, given the typical long maturation). You can still find some bottles (and also barrels, during festivals) for example at the legendary In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst of Eizeringen [1].
