Article Title - Karen Wruck Karen Hopper Wruck is the Dean's Distinguished Professor and Professor of Finance at the Fisher College of Business, Ohio State University. Prior to her appointment at Ohio State in 2000, Wruck served on the faculty of the Harvard Business School from 1988 to 1999.[1] Her areas of expertise include financial and organizational economics, focusing on corporate economics.[2]

Wruck work on corporate governance has provided insights into corporate financial performance She has shown how shareholder activism improves corporate performance.[3]


Education

Wruck earned her A.B degree in Economics from Davidson College where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She went on to graduate school at the University of Rochester where she earned a M.S in Applied Economics (1985) and a PhD in Finance and Accounting (1998).[1][4]
