Scanet Document Distribution, Inc. is an American software company based in Columbia, SC.
History
[edit]Scanet Document Distribution was founded by Sean David Lee in 2016. After leaving a trade show, he decided he was tired of carrying all the handouts and brochures given to him by vendors. The first version of Scanet was designed by freelance programmer Chris Windham. After some reliability and other issues, Sean Lee decided to bring the development of Scanet within his own parent company, World Vision Home Entertainment. Christopher Lee was hired as the chief of development over the project and remains so today.

[edit]Scanet is a secure document distribution platform that allows users to retrieve information by scanning a QR code. It is app-based, and does not direct the user's device to a webpage, and is, therefore, more secure and versatile than ordinary QR scanner apps.
