I am a GLAM member directly affiliated with the Smithsonian Institution.

Conflict of Interest Statement

I, User:DigiGardens, am an employee of Smithsonian Gardens, a unit/program within the Smithsonian Institution dedicated to enriching the Smithsonian experience through exceptional gardens, horticultural exhibits, collections, and education and a cultural institution per WP:GLAM. I accept the editing conditions specified at that page. I will not make any edits that would not be beneficial to the goals of Wikipedia.I will uphold the community policies laid down by WP:GLAM. My main edits for the Smithsonian Institution will consist of the following activities:

  • Creating or enhancing existing biographies of notable American landscape designers or garden history related subject matter based on both published and original primary source materials.
  • Creating or enhancing existing biographies of notable scholars, researchers, and cultural figures, especially those specifically connected to the history of gardens in America.
  • Adding authoritative references, citations, and images to improve the quality of existing articles of all types.
  • Updating project pages related to GLAM and to the Smithsonian


I will modify my editing behavior based on problems cited by other editors or if my editing conflicts with other Wikipedia guidelines.
