Declan Michael Laird born April 6th 1993 in Greenock is a Scottish actor who currently resides in Los Angeles as part of the cast of TV series Camp Abercorn. Laird signed for Greenock Morton Football Club at age 16 on a professional contract until he found a passion for acting. Laird booked his first television role after only one audition on BBC show 'River City'. He then secured the leading role in short film 'The Lost Purse' which won critical acclaim around the UK and US, winning Laird 2 'best actor' awards. Declan Michael then moved to California at the age of 18 after being offered a 100% Scholarship from the Stella Adler Academy of Acting. The first to receive the scholarship since Robert De Niro.
