Datu Razali Datu Eranza

Datu Razali bin Datuk Datu Haji Eranza is an academic and the International Mobility Coordinator at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accountancy (FBEA), Universiti Malaysia Sabah[1] (UMS). Previously, he served as the UMS's Coordinator for the European Union Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region (SHARE)[2]. Holding a master's degree in Human Capital Management and a Professional Diploma in Competency-Based Talent Management, he has contributed to academia with over 110 publications and successfully secured several research and consultancy grants. Between 2023 and 2024, he received more than 20 individual recognition and innovation awards. To date, the FBEA International Mobility Department has been recognized as the Most Active Mobility Programme for eight consecutive years by UMS Centre for Internationalization and Global Engagement.

He has also spearheaded the design and implementation of tailored short-term mobility programs, enriching the academic and cultural experiences of students from partner universities. In 2022, he initiated the FBEA UMS International Mobility Seminar as part of UMS's Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) initiatives. This programme strengthens ties with higher education institutions in Indonesia, China and South Korea. The eight seminar series have been conducted, attracting over 1,400 participants from more than 10 collaborative universities, further establishing UMS as a hub for international academic exchange. The FBEA International Mobility Programme initiatives have enhanced UMS's global visibilities while fostering cross-border collaboration in education.

Early Life

Datu Razali was born in Tawau, Sabah, Malaysia, to the late Datuk Datu Haji Eranza bin Datu Haji Saribu and Datin Noriza Ho Toy Fong. His late father was honored with a state award 'The Illustrious Order of Kinabalu[3] - Second Grade' (Panglima Gemilang Darjah Kinabalu) in 2014, which conferred upon him the title of 'Datuk'. At the time, the award was conferred by Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Juhar bin Mahiruddin[4], the 10th Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sabah, who served from January 2011 to December 2024, and Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Musa bin Aman[5], the 14th Chief Minister of Sabah from March 2003 to May 2018, who became the 11th Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sabah in January 2025.
