Lead
The lead is concise and to the point. It mentions the biological anatomy of the limbal ring, as well as some abnormalities associated with it.
è Thanks, I plan on adjusting it further.
Content
The content mentioned in the lead seems relevant; however, I noticed that the resources uses are from the early 2000s, so I would just double check to make sure that information still stands true. There is no additional content in the article.
è I’ve learned some more about the structures, which I will probably employ in linking to further articles, as it is more hard science, rather than about the visually observed structure.
Tone and Balance
None of the content seems to have any biases.
è Thank you! As a philosophy major, I’m used to trying to write objectively, but this endeavor is more science related than I’m used to (hence less opinion-y/feel-y than philosophy despite efforts towards what I call subjective objectivity), so it means a lot.
Sources and References
The sources seem reliable; however, they are each from the early 2000s, so I am not sure if they are up to date.
è I’ve worked to add some more sources; also added more content from a post-2010 study. That said, twenty years is still fairly relevant in scientific terms, most good longitudinal studies take 10-20 years.
Organization
The content is clear.
è Cheers!
Images and Media
I would recommend using some pictures of the abnormalities you mention in the lead.
è Great suggestion, I was planning to, but ran into copyright issues. Still hoping to find suitable images.
Overall impressions
Overall, it is a good start. I would recommend adding some sections based on the information you provide in the lead. Those are interest topics that you can definitely get into depth with.
è Yeah, I think so too! Hope my future edits meet the standard you imagine.
