Odbojkaški klub Spartak (Serbian Cyrillic: Одбојкашки клуб Спартак), commonly referred to as MOK Spartak Subotica, is a men's professional volleyball club based in Subotica, Serbia. They are currently competing in the Serbian Volleyball League.
History
[edit]The club was founded in 1945 and was named after Jovan Mikić Spartak, an Olympic athlete from Subotica, who was killed in 1944.
Club had mixed success in first years of its history competing in First Yugoslav league from 1948. to 1955. and then in lower leagues. Club came back to first league in 1968. following years were golden time for club as Spartak won Yugoslav first league in 1975 and came in third CEV Champions League in 1976.
