Background

I've been an active web developer for over 10 years, but more importantly I am a voracious reader and devoted opera singer. I have worked for Television news and radio top 40 stations. I have an encyclopedic knowledge of original Broadway casts and songs and am attempting to learn as much if not more about opera.

All of my life I've been in Virginia (Northern Virginia and, for college, the Shenandoah Valley. I barely speak Italian and Spanish.

My current obsession is finding interesting English-Language opera, especially if it has a leading bass role. When ever I dive into an opera, I look on wikipedia to see if it has an article on it and does it need expanding.

While not actively singing in operas, I work on a database for a non-profit.
